Thurston County AIDS Walk

In 1985, the Olympia AIDS Taskforce organized to raise awareness of the emerging HIV/AIDS crisis and joined forces with local community-based organizations to meet urgent medical and social needs. 25 years later, our community remains united in the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS. At UCAN our goal is to honor and preserve life. We accomplish this by providing sustenance, nutritional support, healthcare access facilitation, family preservation services, and critical financial assistance to people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Our vibrant staff work hard to deliver HIV prevention services, education and no-cost anonymous testing to thousands of residents and youth in an 11 county area.
